Board Authority
The Path Planning Committee is to prepare options for the Board in the event that circumstances warrant the relocation of five or more booths, change to the exiting path routing or permanent performance venues. These relocation options are to be delivered to the Board for review by March 1 of any given year. If options are not provided by said date or prove unworkable, it shall become the responsibility of the Site Manager to propose options to the Board.
How We Actually Work
The Path Planning Committee advises the Board of Directors and operations personnel on conditions of the paths and other public spaces at the Oregon Country Fair, identifies needs and goals, and recommends changes and additions to public spaces and infrastructure. The committee is charged with designating replacement space for at least five booths per year to compensate for booth space lost to river erosion or other causes.
